It could be a simple thing as the seat or the stem! ButtyCutz First cut off the water under ur sink... Registered User 2...open the faucet to relieve the pressure Joined: Friday, 7th of May 2010, 00:12:04 3...remove the handle (there is a screw on top, probably under a cap or Posts: 1509 cover Viewed 2037 times 4...remove the stem this is what the screw was in, it is replaceable &
could be the problem.
5...with ur seat wrench (you can get this at any hardware store) insert it
into the faucet & turn it counter clockwise to remove the seat. If the
seat is not smooth around the rim next to the stem you will need to
replace it. this is about $1.00 to $1.50
6..Reassemble the faucet & turn on the water
The time repairing the faucet is less than drinking a cup of coffee.
